  • I had such a wonderful experience at this coffee shop! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or catch up with a friend. The drinks are excellent, brewed with care and full of flavor. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner. He is genuinely kind, attentive, and treats every customer like a friend. It’s rare these days to find a business where you feel so appreciated and cared for. His warmth and hospitality create an environment that keeps you wanting to come back. If you’re looking for not only great coffee but also a place that makes you feel at home, this is the spot. Highly recommended!

  • Extremely friendly team—everyone was warm and welcoming. I had a London Fog Tea that was interesting, worth the new experience. The cappuccino was rich and bold, just the way I like it. The bear claw pastry was fresh and delicious—flaky on the outside and soft inside. Great vibes all around.

  • I go here a few times a week. I love the monthly specials (especially the overnight oats!) and the freshness of all of the items they have available to choose from. All of their teas are incredible. The staff is always friendly. I love seeing all of the dogs who come in each day. Overall, this is the best local coffee shop that Salt Lake has to offer.

  • Great cozy spot. The prices were reasonable, the coffee and muffin were tasty. The wifi was fast. There isn't really anything more you could want from this place! I think its wonderful! I did not try any of the sandwiches but they do look good.

  • Had a great cappuccino and an absolutely delicious Caprese panini here. The service I got right after I entered was very friendly, warm and patient while I took my sweet time deciding on what food to get after immediately ordering my cappuccino. I sat at the bar stools by the window overlooking 200 Street enjoying the relaxing background music. The place is clean and the decor is beautiful, with a rustic country-house wooden floor, chairs and tables and cool pictures on the walls. I’m very glad this place is within a short walk of where I’m staying during my visit to Salt Lake City and across the street from a fantastic barbershop. I will be back and I highly recommend it.

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were recommended People’s Coffee by Chelsea at From Scratch Restaurant, and we are so glad we came! Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, this beautiful corner lot café has giant windows, plenty of natural light, and great outdoor seating—it’s the kind of space that immediately feels warm and inviting. Victoria greeted my wife and me as soon as we walked in and made us feel right at home. I ordered my usual iced Americano with heavy cream, and my wife tried the seasonal Salted Maple Cinnamon Latte. Both drinks were absolutely fantastic—the Americano was smooth and bold, and the latte was perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a local coffee shop: welcoming, community-focused, and the kind of place you could happily sit for hours working, reading, or just enjoying good conversation. We’ll absolutely be back every time we visit from Pennsylvania. If I could give this spot 6 stars, I would—the coffee and atmosphere are that good. Highly recommend People’s Coffee!

  • My friend and I stopped by The People’s Coffee while we were in the city, and it was definitely worth it! The drinks and food were delicious (with a good amount of veg and vegan options), our server was friendly and amicable to requests, and the ambience was perfect. TPC is 100% worth a visit, whether you live in Central City or beyond!

  • Ordered a cold brew that was a-okay but on the bitter side and a cinnamon scone type thing that was pretty tasty when warned up. The real magic of this place is the wooden floor slats painted different shades of blue and all of the natural light that comes in. Bright and airy with some solid downtown people-watching to boot. Also a decent place to hole up and get some work done- it’s never too crowded and has accessible outlets, just not the most comfortable chairs.
